BPS Students Perform Above State Average

Initial results of the Nebraska State Accountability Reading (NeSA-R) test are now available. Students in grades 3-8 and 11 participated in the state-wide reading test for the first time last Spring. NeSA-Reading is a one-time, drop-in and check of student performance on the standards. Summer School's Tech Academy

This year in addition to traditional summer school, was the tech academy.  Twenty-eight students from grades 3-6 participated.  Students learned how to use Photobooth and Iphoto to do fun effects with pictures, make a slideshow, and add music.  The 5th and 6th graders even learned how to make their own music in Garageband. . . . read more
