Girls Varsity and JV win over Mitchell

On January 14, 2006 the Bridgeport girls took on the Mitchell Tigers. The JV girls won by a final score of 44 to 31. The lead scorers were Morgan B. with 15 points, Molly S. with 9, Renae J 7, and Jaicee P. 3.
Kendal H., Monica D., Ti W., Leicy F., and Marissa S. also contributed to the win by scoring two points each.
The Varsity girls also took on the Tigers and dominated the game by a final score of 61-30. The top scorers were Bethany P. with 12 points and Natalie H. with 11.
Cassie L., Ashley V., and Morgan B. helped guide the way to victory by all scoring eight points. Ashley also added three assists and five steals. Lauren F. was also helpful by scoring six points and having five assists, six rebounds and three steals.
The Bridgeport girls now have a 9-2 record for the season. Congratulations on your tremendous win!
