2007 Red Ribbon Week's Activities

This week marks the annual "Red Ribbon Week".  Below is the calendar of events for this week.  

2007 Red Ribbon Week

October 22-26

 

Monday

•        “Celebrate a Drug Free Life”

•        Wear Red 

•        Red food will be served for lunch

•        Start the food drive:  Children have all week to bring canned or boxed food for the local food pantries.

•        Decorate the school grounds and downtown with red ribbons and any other red decorations.

 

 

Tuesday

•        “We Stand for a Drug Free Land”

•        Wear red,white, and blue.

 

 

Wednesday

•        “Fight the War on Drugs”

•         Wear Camouflage and children will receive camouflage pencils.

 

 

Thursday                                         

•        “See Your Success Grow Being Drug Free”

•        Students will plant seeds in class.

•        Wear a farmer, rancher or cowboy hat. 

 

 

Friday

•        “Winners Don’t Do Drugs”

•        Wear purple and gold to show school spirit. 

•        Songs by students (tentative)
