Dressed to impress, the Bridgeport Family Career Community Leaders of America left bright and early on Wednesday, November 7, to attend the annual FCCLA conference in Gering. This year’s theme was “Finding your Colors with FCCLA.” The day started off with a bang as the members from District 15 were divided into groups and immediately sent to their morning sessions. The members attended three different sessions that covered entrepreneurship, “ice breakers”, and learning the “colors” of your personality. “I found the color program very interesting and I learned a lot about myself throughout the day,” Titus K commented. The guest speaker for the day was Ms. Toni Decklever, who helped us to understand the “colors” of our personality. The Bridgeport FCCLA was represented by twelve members and their sponsor, Ms. Jan Bloyd. Ms. Bloyd was also recognized at the conference for being a FCCLA leader for ten years. It was a great learning experience and we would all like to congratulate Ms. Bloyd for her achievements!
