BHS track team qualifies numerous individuals and a relay for State

State qualifiers for BHS were as follows: Courtney L (high jump), Molly S (Shot Put), Manda S (400-meter dash), and Alecia H (200-meter dash). The 3200-relay team of Renae J, Valerie K, Alexa L, and Jessica T qualified as well.
Jase D qualified in the 100, 200, and 400.
BHS finished third as a team in the girls’ competition with 103.5 points. Bayard had 121 and Kimball had 119.

For the BHS boys, Bridgeport placed fifth as a team with 48 points. Bayard won the meet with 163 and Morrill finished with 98.
Jase D finished with the following times: 100-meter dash, 1, 10.89; 200-meter dash, 1, 23.15; 400-meter dash, 1, 49.7.
The 4X100 meter relay team of Jaime G, Chance H, Mike B, and Taylor C finished fifth with a time of 50.52; the 4X400 meter-relay team of Chance H, Taylor C, Bryce D, and Jase D finished third with a time of 3:47.32.
Bryce D finished third in the triple jump with a mark of 37-11 while A.J. L placed fourth in the shot put with a throw of 40-11.75.
