Back to School

The 2008-2009 school year started off on August 20. The high school and junior high students gathered in the gym for the annual meeting of the new staff, receiving the rules, and going over the new school year. They then departed to their own classes and the year was off. The week was short, but everyone started getting into their old groove and everyone felt their summer vacation ending.
The elementary students started their new reading program, along with many of their new, exciting subjects. The fourth grade was learning about pulleys, while other students were learning new games with the new P.E. teacher, Mr. Dean.
This year has many exciting events coming up soon, including the golf meet on August 28, volleyball game on September 4, and cross country meet and the football game on September 5. Homecoming will be on September 26th this year, and the dance will be on Saturday, September 27th this year.
