Happy Birthday Johnny Appleseed!!!

On Friday, September 25th, Mrs. Janicek's kindergarten class celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday by going on a field trip. They walked to Mr. and Mrs. Vassos' house. On the field trip, Mr. Vassos explained the different types of apples. The students each got to climb a ladder where they each got to pick 2 red, juicy apples to take home. Mr. Vassos also showed the students a "quick and nifty" apple peeler. The children also got to use an "extra long apple peeler" to pick an apple from the very top of the tree.
