Seventh Grade Pre-algebra Attends Math Meet

The Nebraska Panhandle Area Health Education Center hosted a Seventh Grade Math meet on Friday, October 24th. Mrs. Rahmig packed up her 7th grade Pre-Algebra class at 7:30 a.m. and headed for the Harms Advanced Technology Center on the WNCC campus in Scottsbluff. The object of the day was to have fun, to help students understand what math is, and make the connection between math and its practical and professional applications. The day also helped allay fear of math! Sessions focused on math definition, math challenges and puzzles, and math occupations.
